But the greatest race will be against the people in their lives who conspire to keep them down. Cast with a mixture of diversity across colour, class and sexuality dealing with dark themes such as mental health and criminal convictions but with a refreshing tone of wit unique to Merseyside. This is an uplifting story of the healing to be found in community, sisterhood and the corners we can turn when we push ourselves across the line.
